ArHIMA Officer Announcement

The Arkansas Health Information Management Association (ArHIMA) welcomes Ms. Debby Hunt. Ms. Hunt was inducted as President of ArHIMA at the Annual Business meeting held in Little Rock at the Crowe Plaza.   She has served on the ArHIMA board and held various leadership positions over the years. Her dedication to the health information management profession is greatly appreciated.  

Ms. Hunt is the Health Information Technology and Professional Medical Coding Program Director at National Park College. She has served as an educator for 15 years. Formerly, she worked in the healthcare industry for 20 years in various leadership roles. She holds a Master of Science in Health Informatics and has attained the Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) and Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) credentials. Her leadership and knowledge will be an asset to the association and the healthcare community.


 

The Arkansas Health Information Management Association (ArHIMA) also welcomes Ms. Lisa Daniels to the Board of Directors. Ms. Lisa Daniels was elected President-Elect by the Arkansas Health Information Management Association (ArHIMA) at their recent Annual Business Luncheon held at the Crowne Plaza in Little Rock.  Ms. Daniel has volunteered with ArHIMA and served as Committee Chair for Vendor Arrangements in 2016-17.  

Ms. Daniels manages the Health Information Management and Coding departments at the Arkansas Surgical Hospital. She graduated from National Park College in Hot Springs in 2012 with a degree in Health Information Management. She retains the Registered Health Information Management Technician (RHIT) credentials in her field of study.
