Where do you work and what is your job title?
Primeau Consulting Group and I’m the Chief Operating Officer

How long have you been a member of ArHIMA?
Just joined since I recently moved back to my hometown.

What certification types have you received or are seeking to receive?
I have my RHIA and am looking to get the CHPS.

Which college/university did you attend?
Loma Linda University

What made you decide to pursue a career in HIM?
I stumbled upon the career and found that I loved so many facets of it.

What other jobs and/or titles have you held prior to the present one?
I was a consultant, Senior business analyst, HIT Professor, and HIT Program Director

What is a typical day like for you?
Meetings, networking, coming up with solutions to help industry partners to be even more successful in supporting patients.

What do you enjoy most about your job?
Connecting with industry professionals that have a passion and desire to lift up and impact individual’s health

What is your favorite food?

What’s your favorite family tradition?
Every year at Christmas each person gets an ornament that reflects something that is impactful for them from the year.

Who had the most influence on you growing up?
My parents. They work hard and have so many incredible qualities I hope to mimic in my own life.

What was the first concert you ever attended?

What’s something you want to do that you’ve never done before? 
Riverboat cruise.

What’s the best advice you’ve ever heard? 
There is always a solution. It just takes looking outside the box.

Do you like to cook? If so, what is your favorite thing to cook?
I do, but am not very good at it. I love to bake anything, though!

If you could get on a plane tonight and travel anywhere in the world, where would you go?
Probably Italy or Greece. But honestly, I’d love to go just about anywhere and explore!

Where is one place in Arkansas you would suggest people to visit?
Hot Springs. I love that little town.
