Lisa Daniels, RHIT, Director of Health Information Management at the Arkansas Surgical Hospital, was recently inducted as the President of the Arkansas Health Information Management Association (ArHIMA). Ms. Daniels is a graduate from the Health Information Technology Program at National Park College in Hot Springs and earned the Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) credential. She has served in several capacities for ArHIMA to include chairperson for Vendor Arrangements Committee and member of the Budget and Finance Committee.
Tina Cikanek, MBA, RHIA, CCS has been elected as the President-Elect of the Arkansas Health Information Management Association (ArHIMA). She is an eight-year veteran Health Information Management Program Director and Instructor at NorthWest Arkansas Community College in Bentonville, Arkansas. Ms. Cikanek obtained her associate degree in Health Information Management from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences and earned a bachelor’s and master’s degree in business from Arkansas State University. She obtained the Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) credential through the RHIA proviso and is also a Certified Coding Specialist (CCS). Ms. Cikanek recently served ArHIMA as Secretary and had volunteered as the Program Committee Chairperson in 2018 and 2019.
