President’s Message — June 2026
As my term as President of ArHIMA comes to a close on June 30, I want to express my sincere gratitude to our members, volunteers, and Board of Directors for their support, collaboration, and dedication to our profession and organization.
This past year has been filled with meaningful accomplishments, including our highly successful State Conference in April. The conference received outstanding feedback from attendees and showcased the strength, expertise, and engagement of our ArHIMA community. I am proud of what we accomplished together.
I am especially grateful to Sherry Slay and Bryce Miller for their mentorship, leadership, and friendship throughout my service. Your guidance has been invaluable, and I deeply appreciate the opportunity to learn from both of you.
Beginning July 1, I am honored to continue serving ArHIMA as Past President, Student Liaison, and Membership Liaison. I look forward to supporting our members and helping foster the next generation of health information professionals.
Please join me in welcoming Bryce Miller as ArHIMA President effective July 1, 2026. Bryce is an exceptional leader, and I know our association—and its membership—are in very capable hands.
Thank you for the privilege of serving as your President. I look forward to continuing to serve ArHIMA in my new roles and supporting the continued success of our organization.
